Apple Picking with the Prude

1) Pick a gray shirt, unaware that all other family members below 25 years of age will also wear a gray shirt

2) Pick your apples. This is the hard part and you don't want to exhaust yourself. Make someone muscular bend down, pick up your bag, and put it in your cart.

3) Pick ancillary items- candy, mustard, juice, pancake mixes or scented candles

4) Pick up as many apple cider donuts as will teeter on top of your apples

5) Pick the shortest line

6) Pick the slowest moving vehicle to tail to more orchards for more cider, snacks, caramel apple pizzas, and gee-gaws

7) Pick your corn maze

8) Pick your favorite Lucy/Charlie Brown scene

9) Pick your Heisman Trophy stance

10) Pick your pal

11) Pick your window for the ride home

12) Pick how you'll spend your weekend- hope it is lovely!

I feel like I just visited a little slice of Dandelion Wine. I especially love the photo of Abby and Bonnie...but they are all delightful. "Pick the shortest line and the slowest vehicle..." makes me smile!

Ooopsie! I hadn't logged out of my daughter's account... but I'm sure she feels the same way! :)

Oh Sandy, I have done that a few times when Kaleb leaves his FB account open! Only I embarrass him more...

It's been a few years since we've visited an apple orchard. This post has me wanting to go again.

I especially loved the new introductory photo and the one of Abbie and Bonnie, too.

Oh, how I love your photos--and the people in them!!! Your words frame them beautifully.
