Something The Prude doesn't give thanks for often enough is color She is enamored with it. So, it seems, are many artists. Thank you God, for color and the artists who use it.
I don't remember noticing the August Macke painting, so I had to look that one up. (Geraniums Before Blue Mountain, 1911). Isn't that a nice-sounding name? That one would be worth going back for, but I must say I love the bold colors of the Ellsworth Kelly the best!! Definitely barrier-worthy so little kids and naughty patrons don't lean or put grimy hands upon it. Thanks for the colors today, Prude. They're quite a contrast to the bleak colors outside today.
