I have looked long and wistfully at my collection of 22 GLH books. They were my grandmother's and she started me reading them when I became a teenager. They are one of my fondest memories of my grandmother. All the stories are the same - only the names and faces have been changed.:-) But isn't it time to move on from the past? No, I cannot sell them - I caught my 26 year old daughter reading one. The tradition shall live on!!!Bethnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1871244375969900344.post-60238769253621960452010-09-23T10:57:02.969-05:002010-09-23T10:57:02.969-05:00You may notice these books are not in terrific sha...You may notice these books are not in terrific shape. This is because:
-they were published in the 1920's
-I tended to do a lot of my reading under covers, up trees, or in the back of station wagons. Books do not thrive in those conditions. The Prudehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02984719614039419561noreply@blogger.com
